Officer - Sourcing

Functional Tasks:

• Know the products to be sourced very well.

• Get connected with the growers of the products to be sourced.

• Evaluate price and service offerings of different sources.

• Record all the details of the sources of the products on a database. There should be at least three different sources per product.

• Purchase and procure the best quality products in the most cost-effective way.

• Update the database with the pre-order, during-order, and after-order KPIs (meeting quality specifications, delivery schedule, financial terms, etc.). Rank the sources based on their performance.

• Nurture the suppliers continuously so they improve day by day.

• Identify and report the reorder level and safety stock of the products.

• Maintain all the necessary documents related to sourcing, purchasing, and procuring.

• Develop new sources, new products, and new markets.

Additional Requirements:

• This job requires a substantial amount of travel around the country.

• Night-time duty will be there.

• The incumbent will have to deal with mainly agricultural and livestock products.
