Supply Chain
Functional Tasks:
Know the products to be sourced very well.
Get connected with the growers of the products to be sourced.
Evaluate price and service offerings of different sources.
Record all the details of the sources of the products on a database. There should be at least three different sources per product.
Purchase and procure the best quality products in the most cost-effective way.
Update the database with the pre-order, during-order, and after-order KPIs (meeting quality specifications, delivery schedule, financial terms, etc.). Rank the sources based on their performance.
Nurture the suppliers continuously so they improve day by day.
Identify and report the reorder level and safety stock of the products.
Maintain all the necessary documents related to sourcing, purchasing, and procuring.
Develop new sources, new products, and new markets.
Additional Requirements:
This job requires a substantial amount of travel around the country.
Night-time duty will be there.
The incumbent will have to deal with mainly agricultural and livestock products.
