Job Responsibilities

Operational Oversight and operations team set up:

  • Ensure 1 i-farmer operation with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the work of Agri Input national operations, building a national operational force, ensuring operational efficiency, process adherence, and effective individual performance.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement.

Performance Management:

  • Set performance goals and KPIs for the operations team, ensuring they are aligned with overall business objectives: Revenue, recovery, customer onboarding and app usage
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Operations Executives/Specialists, providing regular feedback and coaching for their professional development.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.

IFC and Input financing business Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IFC, for all operational matters and help i-farmer center business grow.
  • Provide necessary on ground operational support to IFC owners with company initiatives and projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other department heads, including sales, marketing, procurement, and finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination of operations activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional operations roadmap and provide input on operational matters and strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative and cohesive working environment to drive overall organizational success in mentioned geographic locations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Review reports and presentations prepared by the executives, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.

Risk Management:

  • Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Implement risk assessment and management processes to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the business.
  • Work closely with the Operations Executives to develop and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.

Process Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational processes, leveraging data analysis, industry best practices, and employee input.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, streamlining, and optimization of processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Technology Adoption:

  • Evaluate and recommend technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work with the IT team to implement and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Operations Executives/Specialists in leveraging technology for improved operations.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in relevant field/operations
  • Graduate from a reputed university
  • Team Player, able to work remotely and agile
  • Multi tasker, confident and efficient communication skills
