Business Development

• Play a key role in achieving company sales target & category growth through developing & implementing BTL & Rural Marketing strategies within brands guidelines as well as customers' & stakeholders’ expectations.
• Drive & facilitate smooth and effective implementation of brand plans to achieve marketing ROI
• Develop and implement strategic, tactical creative plans to drive sales and ensure brand growth through various marketing and trade marketing plans, adding value to assigned brands
• Review marketing plan and activities with Sales & Operations team to evaluate effectiveness and execution of brand targets (distribution and trade marketing activities) and implement methods that will result in greater or heightened efficiency
• Maintain transparency in budget management and comply with existing financial transparency and audit principles to ensure no discrepancy and full compliance
• Co-ordinate with iFarmer field offices and maintain transparent campaign and budget management reroute to completing field related activities.
• Assist, support and organize rural activations, promotions, events and road shows
• Co-ordinate with offline marketing vendors and agencies to facilitate all forms of rural, trade & offline marketing and communications
• Submit monthly reports of trade marketing activity and co-relate with existing business numbers
• Collect insights from the market and convert them into actionable items for broader organization to work on


• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Business studies/Administration/ Management, Marketing or relevant field
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in FMCG industry or in brand management / trade marketing / sales / events & offline marketing
• Good team player, able to work with colleagues at all levels to achieve business objectives
• Possess business acumen embraced with excellent communication skills
• Good analytical skills, partnered with positive attitude and high learning agility, and can take on new challenges / responsibilities
• Self-motivated, proactive and results oriented
• Comfortable with working and travelling within rural and semi-urban areas

Salary Range
