Job Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure effective and efficient operation of the cold storage facility.
Ensure supply of required materials for cooling equipment in the facility and its maintenance.
Inspection of all features of the cold storage facility, operation of the cooling equipment and ensure its readiness.
Adjust controls to set storage parameters such as temperature and humidity required for the product of the cold storage room/chamber.
Provision of training in operation & maintenance of cold storage to staff.
Support inventory control by organizing and labeling products within the cold storage area.
Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures.
Responsible for following protocols for cold Storage products and services.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the appropriate operations of cold storage facility.
QC and repair cold storage inventory items.
Maintain clean and safe working environments.
Report any issues or discrepancies to the line manager in a timely manner.
All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Job Requirements

Diploma degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering with minimum experience of 0 - 2 years.
Previous experience in a cold storage or warehouse environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and maintenance procedures.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
